At the Global Human Rights Front (GHRF) Sri Lanka, we are a premier, independent civic action and advocacy organization dedicated to defending human dignity, empowering citizens, and securing justice for all. Established as a vital cornerstone for human rights in Sri Lanka, we bridge the gap between international humanitarian standards and grassroots civic action.
We are a dynamic network of human rights defenders, legal experts, media professionals, and digital rights advocates who believe that an informed citizen is the ultimate guardian of democracy. Through our comprehensive frameworks in legal literacy, investigative reporting, digital privacy, and civic education, we actively transform passive observers into empowered agents of change.
Our Purpose
Our fundamental purpose is to foster a just, transparent, and inclusive society where constitutional rights are not just legal theories, but lived realities. We work tirelessly to dismantle systemic discrimination, expose public corruption through robust accountability frameworks, and amplify the voices of the marginalized, including women, children, and persons with disabilities.
